Overview
Eracon designs the structure of residential, commercial and public buildings across Cyprus, and supervises them on site from the first excavation to the final inspection. Their work is precise and quietly impressive, and they wanted a website that felt the same.
Finding the look
We started by studying how other Cyprus engineering firms present themselves, then built a mood board with the client. They chose four references, all dark and cinematic: buildings photographed at dusk, warm window light against a charcoal sky, and fine lines like a technical drawing.
The result is a near-black interface with elegant serif headlines and thin uppercase labels. The red from the logo, the wire wrapped around a piece of rebar, appears only in small touches.
We didn't want another engineering site with a stock photo and a list of services. Mellownerds understood that straight away.
Work that speaks for itself
The projects are the heart of the site. Visitors can filter them by sector (residential, commercial, hotels, public and more), and each project has its own page with a large lead image, key details, the scope of Eracon's work and a photo gallery.

Two languages, two themes
Every page exists in English and Greek, with a switcher that keeps visitors on the same page. Dark is the signature look, but the site also has a light theme that follows the visitor's system setting, and every component was designed to work in both.

Easy to keep up to date
Projects, services, sectors and page text all live in Sanity Studio, built into the site. Adding a new project is a matter of filling in a form and uploading photos, in both languages, and it appears on the site as soon as it's published.
Outcome
Eracon now has a website that stands apart from its competitors, shows its portfolio the way it deserves, and is ready to grow with a blog in a second phase.
