Case Study - From WordPress to a fast, bilingual site the team runs itself

We rebuilt the website of a Cyprus insurance agency as a fast Next.js site in English and Greek, with every word and photo editable in Sanity and a quote form on every service page.

Overview

Professional Insurance Agency is a Cyprus-based agency covering 15 kinds of insurance, from home and motor to directors' liability and retirement plans. Their WordPress site had done its job, but it was slow, fiddly to edit, and treated English as an afterthought.

The brief was simple: keep everything the agency had built up, especially the blog, and make the site faster, clearer and easier to run.

A clearer front door

We redesigned the site around one question a visitor brings with them: am I covered? The homepage leads with the agency's promise and a direct way to ask for a quote or call. The colourful umbrella from the logo carries through the whole design.

The Services page, with insurance types grouped into clear categories

The 15 services are grouped into four plain categories, like "Home & vehicle", so visitors find their cover without scrolling through a long list.

Every service page sells itself

Each insurance type has its own page with a short explanation and an "Ask about this cover" form right beside it. Enquiries reach the agency's inbox already labelled with the service the visitor asked about, so the team knows what the call is about before they pick up the phone.

Nothing left behind

The agency had years of articles on insurance, money and everyday life. We wrote an importer that moved every post, image and category from WordPress into Sanity, and set up redirects so old links still work.

The blog, carried over from WordPress with all its posts and images

We were worried about losing the blog we had built over the years. In the end, every article came across, and the site is faster than ever.

Professional Insurance Agency, Client

Built to be run, not maintained

The site is built ahead of time and served as plain pages, so it loads quickly and has very little that can break. When the team clicks Publish in Sanity, the site rebuilds itself and the change is live in a few minutes.

We handed over a plain-language editing guide covering posts, services, photos, translations and SEO, so the agency doesn't need a developer for day-to-day changes.

Outcome

Professional Insurance Agency now has a fast, bilingual site with a quote form on every service, all its old content intact, and a publishing workflow the team handles on its own.
